The Racer X album Second Heat was such a HUGE influence on me back in the 80's. The amazing dual guitar parts by Paul Gilbert and Bruce Bouillet were so insipirational a frightening at the same time but were great to push your limits when trying to learn them. I thought it might be fun to use one of my Line 6 Marketplace presets based around the brand new Revv amp model introduced in firmware 2.8 to put together a version of the solo from the song Sunlit Nights. I always loved this solo and the interplay between the harmony guitars in the second solo. I found that the Revv Gen Red preset worked nicely for this, but was in no way an attempt at recreating or even coming close to the album tone.
