Amit Shah's Fabulous Speech, Rajya Sabha Approves Bifurcation of J&K With 125 Votes in Favour

Home Minister Amit Shah has proposed to remove Article 370 that gives special status to Jammu and Kashmir. The government has also decided to bifurcate the state of Jammu and Kashmir into two Union Territories. The announcement made by Amit Shah in the Rajya Sabha triggered chaos and massive protests in Parliament.

The Union Territory (UT) of Jammu and Kashmir will have a Lt Governor and the strength of the Assembly will be 107, which will be further enhanced to 114 after a delimitation exercise is carried out.
