I don't really care very much about grammar when I'm studying a language. For me grammar is just pretty boring and I would much rather be reading something interesting or watching or listening to something interesting than forcing myself to study something like grammar that is pretty boring for me.
When I was learning English I felt the same way in my first language.
I never really liked studying grammar and my English is doing just fine without it, so if you like grammar, study it, but if you don't, don't worry about it.
