55th Annual Day was celebrated in the vidyalaya on 19.08.2019. Dr. T Sumathy (a) Thamizhachi Thangapandian, Hon'ble Member of Parliament, South Constituency, Tamilnadu was the CHIEF GUEST and Prof. V Jagadeesh Kumar, Dean Academics, IIT Madras & Chairman VMC and Shri C Mani Deputy Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Chennai Region were the Guests of Honour. The Chief Guest was welcomed by the Principal, Staffs and students with Guard of Honour by the Scouts & Guides, NCC Cadets. The program began with the Prayer song, lighting the lamp, Address by the Principal with the brief Annual Report for the year 2018-19. The Chief Guest & Guests of Honour appreciated and blessed the students with Cash Prizes & Certificates who excelled and got centum in various subject in class X & XII. Later the cultural events were witnessed by the Guest, parents which was a feast to the eyes. The program was concluded with vote of thanks and National Anthem.
