Firstly, I want to emphasize that this theft likely isn't intentional. There's likely a bug or logic error in their app that results in financial transactions not aligning with the confirmed price.
Regardless, they are taking additional dollars without consent or intent on returning it.
In this video, you will see that I placed an order for $7.35 but the resulting credit card charge is $10.50
This shows that the final price in the app is NOT what is charged.
The message from this video is to ensure you're checking your final receipt when doing a mobile order.
I also recommend refraining from doing any Mobile Orders until this is resolved.
Please note that I am not interested in calling McDonald's. I only want some sort of communication method where I can easily maintain records of the discussion.
