A private plane crashed in Calamba, Laguna on Sunday, Sept. 1.

Authorities say nine people are dead and two people were reportedly injured after the two-seater plane crashed at Agojo private resort in Purok 6, Miramonte Subdivision, Barangay Pansol around 3 p.m.

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) said the plane lost radar contact at 3:10 p.m. while flying 25 nautical miles from Manila. Police said the flight left from Dipolog at 1:40 p.m.
