Noé Melo Filho focuses his research on prospecting possible applications for NVH improvement by resonant metamaterials while developing engineering methods to predict their stop band effect. The metamaterials are applied on waveguides ( metamaterial integrated panels ( and double panels ( For all the cases, the metamaterial solution shows to be a feasible NVH solution.
The research is part of the IMALIGHT project together with Flanders_Make, and it is also partially funded by Science without Borders program CNPq and CAPES
