My name is Saurabh and I belong to a small city called Junagadh which is in Gujarat. I was born in Delhi but all my schooling and education has been done in Gujarat, that was a lil about me.
Now what is this pledge about, It’s about cleaning this mountain, Yes you read it right, Cleaning the whole mountain which marks a significant role in the ancient Hindu and Jain religion but more of it, it resides in the hearts of mountaineers like me I have spent my childhood climbing this mountain all my life and it was a shock to see such plastic and garbage filth all around the mountain. The pilgrims and people who climb the mountain throw plastic bottles, filth, garbage just like that. I have climbed this mountain almost every year in Winters and Monsoon as well, I have posted all the pictures as to make a clear idea about what I am talking here, Because just talking won’t make a difference.
So why this video?
This video is to let you know about such activity.
Yes we cannot do this without your support, you can help and volunteer.
Where the government is trying to keep things clean with workers working hard climbing this mountain and collecting the filth, the locals are least bothered about it.
There needs to be an awareness spread across the route. To know more about this pledge, please contact us, You can also make a difference by joining the pledge.
