Nikita, a 17-year old performing artiste, draws her inspiration from artistes like Beyonce. While she craves her freedom and own identity, she cannot escape her background, culture and the expectations of her friends and family, especially her mom, Anne.
Anne was brought up by strict conservative parents. She often felt restricted and swore to be a different kind of parent.
