Kochi (Kerala), Sep 02 (ANI): One of the prime festivals of Kerala, Onam kick started in the state with religious fervour and enthusiasm from September 1. The annual harvest festival which is celebrated in August and September falls on 22nd Nakshatra Thiruvonam in the Malayalam calendar called Chingam. The state seeps into festive mood during this festival that started on September 1 and will be on till September 13. --------------------------------------
