Alpha males are a dying breed these days and women essentially don't need men. Or at least they don't think they do. They figure that if things don't go well she will win in divorce court and then get child support and alimony. Before all that happens though she will test you and set up rules for you. Women set up rules for beta males and break them for alpha males. What about when she turns you from alpha to a beta male? Then you are broken and she will likely leave you because you aren't alpha anymore. She subconciously doesn't want you any more because there are guys who are more of a man than you. She might continue to financially abuse you for awhile but at some point she could launch the legal battle and end up with half of your assets.
