What do we do, exactly?
The short answer is lots of things! No two fandoms or brands are the same, so no two projects are alike, either. In eight years, our small-but-powerful team has helped the world’s top entertainers and brands reach millions of fans.
The Superfan Company (from the team that brought you ZinePak) creates value for our partners by providing additional bandwidth—for idea creation, research, sourcing, and execution. The difference between a great idea and a good one is the ability to bring it life. We take into account budgets, timelines, goals and resources to create executable ideas. We don’t promise you the moon; we promise you what’s real, which is why more than 70% of our business is repeat clients.
Our goal is to elevate your audience engagement by using your existing connection with fans to “meet them where they’re at.” Our team is lean (we’ve been called scrappy!), which allows us to work quickly and efficiently to over-deliver for you and your fans...even when timelines and budgets are tight!
We've worked with entertainment properties across all genres and ages, from Ace Comic Con to Pitch Perfect, to help delight fans. Major League Baseball clubs (New York Mets & Boston Red Sox), music festivals including Stagecoach, and merchandise creation for a variety of talent. Our music clients would make the most diverse cocktail party guest list ever: Shawn Mendes, Flatbush Zombies, Panic! at the Disco, Carrie Underwood, Paul McCartney, Eric Church, Jimmy Buffett…

ABOUT ME
Kim Kaupe is the co-founder of The Superfan Company, a fan engagement agency focused on creating one-of-a-kind products, programs and strategies for entertainers, brands, and celebrities. Since starting the company, previously called ZinePak, in January 2011 with co-founder Brittany Hodak, her all-female team has collaborated with A-list properties such as Katy Perry, The New York Mets, KISS, Mumford & Sons, ACE Comic Con, Miller Coors, and Paul McCartney.
Kim has been named to Forbes 30 Under 30, Advertising Age’s 40 Under 40, and Inc.’s 35 Under 35 list while ZinePak was hailed as a Top 30 Startup to Watch by Entrepreneur, and dubbed an “overnight success” by Inc. Magazine. She was featured on ABC’s hit primetime show, Shark Tank, securing offers from 4 out of 5 sharks. Kim’s contributed articles to numerous media outlets including Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, and Forbes Woman.
When not working on The Superfan Company, Kim puts her time and effort into the Andrus Family Fund, focusing on issues to advance social justice for vulnerable youth. She enjoys good music, witty banter, and commenting on life and entrepreneurship on her social channels. If you don’t interrupt her during one of her beloved Florida Gator games, she is always up for a conversation, laugh, or figuring out a master plan on how she can meet and hug one of her idols, Harrison Ford.
