The 8 limbs of yoga: pt 3|8: Asana: being in the body In this series, we’re going to systematically go through the eight steps on the yogic path to enlightenment: the Ashtanga. By following the eight steps, we gradually become more capable of functioning at the peak of our human potential, until we reach the final stage: samadhi, or enlightenment.

In this video, we’re moving from the ethics we worked with in Yama and Niyama, and move into the physical body. Most people associate the limb of asana with the physical yoga poses, but the term includes much more. Let me now how you practice or teach asana in the comments below. Thanks for watching,
