The Mormon After - Ep. 10: Rodney McGuire - If it Was True, We'd all Be Mormon

The Mormon After - Ep. 10: Rodney McGuire - If it Was True, We'd all Be Mormon Rodney McGuire was introduced to the LDS church when some missionaries knocked on his door and taught his family when Rodney was 10 years old. He was baptized and became a devout young Priesthood holder leading by example in his small community near Scranton, PA where Mormons were a minority. The Church even did an article on him and his friends that can be found in the New Era 1987 edition entitled "Downstream" by Melvin Leavitt. Rodney continued a devout Mormon serving a full-time 2-year mission in Europe. Rodney shares his experience discovering the truth about the church and his journey transitioning away from Mormonism.

The Mormon After Channel is a special interest video podcast for former members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints, their friends and family, and others familiar with the Mormon faith. No compensation is received by its participants. The channel will remain ad-free. It is purely a service to this community.

The purpose of the channel is threefold:
1) To provide an outlet to former members to share their personal stories.
2) A place for former members to receive moral support, learn from like-minded others, and receive advice for navigating life successfully after leaving the church.
3) A window into the lives of former members to help foster better understanding for our friends and family members who are still active in the church.
