SilMan installed a new checked baggage inspection system ("CBIS") for the Oakland International Airport (Terminal 2) in 2019. The scope of the project includes conveyor and controls, as well as a custom engineered interface and vertical lift for returning reconciled bags to the baggage handling system . Moreover, the SilMan Controls Group performed a systemwide audit of the existing data exchange. The project was part of a TSA Recapitalization program awarded to the Port of Oakland.
