Filipinas are very solid nurturers. Their children are joined to the hip with them. Many Filipino children stay in the home with their parents well into their 40's and 50's.
This exhibits the strong love and bond they have for the children. If a foreign man comes into their life they will have to deal not with them but with the children as well.
Many foreign men resent the fact they have to take care of somebody else's children so this presents a problem for the relationship.
