Equivalent stiffness of beam and spring combination Complete

Equivalent Stiffness of Spring and Beam in Parallel and Series
Parallel System ( Spring and Beam ) ( Beam and Spring )
If two springs (or one spring and one beam) are connected such that under the action of external load they have same displacement and different forces then they are said to be in parallel.
Equivalent stiffness is sum of stiffnesses of the parts. keq = k1 + k2

Series System ( Spring and Beam ) or ( Beam and Spring )
If two springs (or one spring and one beam) are connected such that under the action of external load they have different displacements and same force then they are said to be in parallel.
(1/keq) = (1/k1) + (1/k2)
keq = (k1 k2)/(k1 + k2)
