The nurses of the Mayerthorpe Healthcare Centre are recipients of a 2019 RhPAP Health-care Heroes Award. Local physicians describe them as 'exceptional'. A warm, family feel bonds the team of 20 nurses who work here. The nurses pass that same spirit on to the patients and their families that they care for.
Some of the nurses have been practising in Mayerthorpe for less than a year. Others have been here over 30 years. All share the common commitment of providing the best care possible, every day.
