Syd Roy's recordings from 1927 were orginally issued under his own name on Aco and a selection of subsidiary labels such as this example. Syd's brother, Harry Roy shares the vocal with the main band vocalist of this period, Eddie Collis. It makes a pleasant change to hear Harry from the 1920s.
The band are on good form and provide a lively version of "Positely, Absolutely".
Recorded c. 25th May 1927, the bands penultimate recording session for Aco and the label finished shortly thereafter.
