A deep political crisis is continuing to play out in Peru, with demonstrations held on an almost daily basis, both for and against the president, as the head of state and the parliament are at loggerheads with each other. Tensions have surged after President Martín Vizcarra dissolved Congress, for failing to support his anti-corruption reforms.
