Boss: Chef Soulfflé - 11:20
Chef Soulfflé will come spinning at us with his frying pan, and we'll need to dodge him until he stops. We'll then attempt to stun him to get him to block the stun with said frying pan. Once he blocks it, we use Suction Slam to yank the frying pan away from him before we stun and damage him. We repeat this process until we take him down and retrieve the 4F Elevator Button.
- Notes -
After adding the 4F Elevator Button to the Elevator, E. Gadd will call us to his Lab to tell us two different things.
- Shopping -
The first of which is that he now has a "Shopping Network" for us to use to buy useful items to help out along the way. Each of the three items costs $1,000 regardless of what it is. The first item is a Golden Bone and we get one for free as a welcome gift. The Golden Bone will revive us if we "die" in the game and let us continue right where we were (basically a fairy or Mipha's Grace for any Zelda fans). The second item is the Boo Finder. These allow you to locate a Boo whenever one appears on a floor (it shows a Boo icon in the room the Boo is haunting). The final item is the Gem Finder which works the same way as the Boo Finders but with Gems. Gem Finders are useless as long as you follow my Walkthrough :P
- Boos -
The second thing E. Gadd mentions, are that Boos are now haunting the Hotel. There is one Boo per floor and it will only appear after that floors Boss is captured and you've left the floor via elevator and arrived on another floor. You can tell a Boo is in the room when the music changes to an Organ playing. Many new pieces of furniture will be added to the room, and the Boo is hiding in one of them. While standing next to a piece of furniture, the Goo in Luigi's Poltergust will begin shaking and pulsing faster, the closer you get to the Boo (Gooigi will wiggle faster as well). If you think the Boo is in that furniture piece, interact with it. If not, Boo will show itself, then send a bunch of bats after you. If so, Boo will reveal itself and begin attacking you while invisible. Using the fog on the ground, you can see where Boo is coming from and will be able to use the Black Light on it to both reveal it and stun it. After stunning a Boo, Suction Slam it until it's defeated and captured. Boo Finders from E. Gadd's shop will show you what room the Boo is hiding in, but it will not tell you what furniture item it's in.
