If you find yourself in the Branson, Missouri area...needing a little fly fishing time, then look no further than the James River. The James flows in a southwesterly direction north and west of Branson...the nearest town is Galena. I think you will enjoy this beautiful river placed smack dab in the midst of the Ozarks. My time on this day was cut short due to a pretty severe thunderstorm that was packing a lot of lightning. Along the way you can see that there is quite literally thousands of rocks and boulders to give ambush fish like smallmouth a place to take up residence and wait for an unsuspecting streamer to pass by.
