Recognizing Effort vs Talent | Coffee Break Podcast S1 E11

Today I'm talking about effort vs talent again, and how important it is to recognize the effort and hard work someone put into something vs their innate talents. Don't dismiss hard work as "talent" - recognize the perseverance, persistence, and effort when those things led to someone's success. Tie success to level of effort, and you'll be teaching kids that effort is what success is dependent on, and not something like "talent" or something they were born with.
