Sondland hearing was a complete train wreck to the Democrats impeachment narratives. The main takeaway from the hearing is the guy to which previous witnesses were referencing as to where they got their information that aid was being held up until Ukraine investigate the Bidens informed that he was just guessing and presuming that was the case. No one ever told him that was why aid was held up, in fact in the few conversations that Sondland did have with Trump or directly with leadership stated they didn't want anything from Ukraine. What we did learn is that the law requires that aid gets certified to prior to release and Sondland didn't know that. The Democrats are blocking the one witness that was in charge of releasing aid and would know if there was a quid pro quo. Why won't the Democrats allow that person to testify in open hearings?
The only statements to which Sondland was actually clear on debunked the claims of quid pro quo, bribery, there being an irregular communication channel or any of the Democrats claims. While testifying about claiming there was clear understanding about what was going on, Ambassador Sondland was contradicting himself as to what was being discussed and using circular referencing. How could there have been a clear understanding of what was meant by unspecified statements when Sondland himself was using circular referencing and contradicted his presumptions and assumptions. It appeared as if Sondlands understanding changed with each question, almost as if he just makes up stuff as he goes with no regards to previous statements.
