Unintended Consequences Chapter 1 and 2 Part 1 Rough

Unintended Consequences Chapter 1 and 2 Part 1 Rough This video contains an intro to the text "Unintended Consequences", by John Ross, as well as the prologue (chapter 0), chapter 1, and half of Chapter 2.
Following upload will replace this one once tech issues have been resolved, and shall contain the remainder of chapter 2.
.
Remainder of text to be published either chapter by chapter, or in sets of three, as this text has relatively short chapters, but considerable total page count.
.
PLOT DESCRIPTION:
The novel "Unintended Consequences" is intended as a cautionary tale about the negative ramifications of government overreach, particularly in the area of firearms rights.
The author expressly wanted it to be read by members of law enforcement so that they might know "what not to do", and in order to "prevent potential armed conflict in his country".
.
Beginning with a series of historical vignettes showing how gun laws--and the wider culture of the United States--have changed over the last century, the text ultimately fixates on a nightmare situation which could well have been pulled from the headlines of a contemporary news headline.
.
Unintended Consequences tells the tale of a law abiding citizen who gets Swatted, and inadvertently kills federal treasury agents (ATF) during the raid on his house, after mistaking them for gangsters that want to kill him and steal his firearms collection.
.
This book having been written shortly after the WACO and Ruby Ridge incidents in the US--which the author alludes to, among others--the main cheracter, "Henry Bowman" knows that this situation can only end in his death. Despite having never committed a crime at any time prior in his life, he resolves himself to use what little time he has left waging a guerrilla assassination campaign against politicians and B-ATF-E agents, with the expressed goal of eliminating the unjust laws which led to his current predicament, so that no-one else shall ever have to face the same fate.

TECH ISSUES WITH THIS UPLOAD:
I've recently started actually editing the audio using Audacity, instead of syncing up raw audio to the visuals for upload.
.
For some reason though, Windows Movie maker, and Audacity don't seem to be all that compatible, as using the edited audio is causing timing issues when I try to sync the audio to text.
.
The problem is hard to describe, but when I am editing it, if I jump to a different time stamp, if within a threshold of a few seconds, it plays back the audio from the start of a phrase, WHILE I am editing; this makes it impossible to know precisely at what time stamp a word is being said while editing.
.
Windows Movie Maker and Audacity also show a sound wave diagram to denote what is being said and when. However, when I import the edited audio to Windows Movie Maker, the sound waves cease to correlate to the audio that I can hear while editing, and appear to show only an ancillary relation to how they sync up in the final product.
.
I need to fix this software problem. Right now, I can post raw unedited audio synced perfectly to the visuals, perfect audio with no visuals, or perfect audio with the visuals all slightly out of sync, despite allocating more effort. If anyone knows why this is happening, please advise in the comments. Thanks.
