Sach Pass is one of the oldest trek routes in Himachal Pradesh. It is located at an elevation of 4,500 meters and acts as a bridge between Dalhousie, Chamba and Pangi Valley in Himachal Pradesh. Sach Pass is located 150 kilometers away from Dalhousie and said to be one of the most difficult passes to cross in North India. The road that leads to Sach pass is also considered as the world’s most dangerous road. Those who seek adventure, mostly visit the Sach Pass to experience the thrill of riding on the world’s most dangerous road. This places is mostly offbeat and you would not find many people here. The core reason behind its less popularity is the road that leads to this pass. Nonetheless, it is a perfect gateway for photographers, riders, nature lovers and adventure seekers.
Best Time to Visit:
Sach Pass receives heavy snowfall during winter and thus remains closed for public during the winter season. It opens from June to October and remains shut during rest of the months. The best time to visit Sach Pass is in July as the roads are comparatively better in July and you can find enough snow on the pass. I visited this place in July 2019 and hence, you would see the road and weather conditions in this video.
