How To Tether a Camera To Your Kayak

How To Tether a Camera To Your Kayak This is a great way to tether a camera to your kayak and save it in case of an accident or if you flip your kayak. I lost a GoPro earlier this year when I flipped my yak.

Here are the Yak Attack Horizontal Tie Downs on Amazon,

Here is the Cape Fear Kayak Camping Trip,

I didn't have it tethered and it was an expensive lesson. The Yak Attack tie downs are a cheap insurance policy against losing your camera down to the bottom of the river. Now I never go out in my kayak without tethering all my cameras. The Yak Attack horizontal tie down is an awesome little gadget that I use to attach my GoPro to gear track I have installed around my kayak. These tie downs are simple, fairly cheap and work perfectly. You can use strapping or any kind of cordage to attach your camera. Think of it as a kayak leash for your action camera.
