Researchers design polymer which could help fight antibiotic resistance Researchers from Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART) and NTU have designed an anti-microbial polymer that can kill bacteria resistant to commonly used antibiotics. Dr Megan McBee, Scientific Director of the SMART Antimicrobial Resistance Research Group, and Dr Mary Chan-Park, NTU Professor and a SMART Principal Investigator, were in the studio to tell us more.
