Written by Krzysztof Piskorski, one of the best polish fantasy writers, it will draw you right in and will keep you engaged, surprised and invested in secrets behind Avalon and ancient Menhirs.
This is mature, dark and unforgiving fantasy setting with a very complex story that you will directly influence through numerous decisions.
In this dying world no decision is easy or morally obvious - very often you will be faced with impossible choices. Other times, consequences of seemingly easy decisions will hunt you back in the least expected moment.
During the course of the game you will constantly develop your heroes. From getting better new items, through leveling and choosing new asymmetric, special skills and attacks up to deciding on evolving archetypes, that will redefine and direct them.
On top of that, you will be constantly developing your village too. Creating additional extra buildings will be not that easy - often, you will need to solve a story encounter and unlock new possibilities through story exploration.
For example saving hill-tribe from the deadly diseases will result in their willingness to come to your village and help train your heroes.
Huge part of the game will happen during expeditions of the land covered by The Wyrdness, an ancient force twisting people, creatures and even space itself in all manner of horrible ways.
You will need to carefully manage your resources, use special items protecting you from the world and pick your track carfeully, as there will be plenty of enemies waiting for you. But exploration will be the only way to gather precious resources and ultimately - figure out what is happening to Avalon and if it can be stopped.
Your heroes will travel through one of a king 3D map, showcasing dark but also beautiful designs.
During combat, you will decide between using skills that you have defined for your hero and try to figure out the best possible combo that you can do.
On top of that, there is a special power runes mechanic, that if played around can boost each of your character.
Every hero will have totally different playstyle that you will continue to further develop based on your tactic idea.
You will be also using items and special moves in combat. All of that makes every encounter different and exciting challenge!
