It's Repeal Day, December 5th, and to celebrate I'm talking a little about Prohibition and making SIX drinks to help you party like Gatsby! Way back in 1933 our country decided to get off the wagon and wake up from the national hangover that was Prohibition, so we repealed the Volstead Act and now we call it Repeal Day! Today I'll talk a BIT about the history of Prohibition but frankly, others can and have done a better job of it than I. But what I WILL do is be making for you six drinks that were actually legitimately invented during Prohibition (you know it's a weird myth that ALL cocktails come from Prohibition, right?) and that's about it. Six drinks, about as fast as I can go. Let's party like Gatsby!

2 oz. -or- 60 ml. Cognac

2 oz. -or- 60 ml. London Dry Gin

1 oz. -or- 30 ml. Orange Juice
1.5 oz. -or- 45 ml. London Dry Gin

.5 oz. -or- 15 ml. grenadine
1 oz. -or- 30 ml. vermouth
2 oz. -or- 60 ml. rye
