Upon release of Danbury federal prison Sunshine kept her word with women she had served time with. She came home not only remaining loyal to her prison sisters she left behind but she also came back with a self help book to help guide our women and at risk youth to deter from the path she had just walked. Pink panther- clique (women prison reform group) was birthed upon Sunshines release of Danbury. Sunshines book "Sunny 101 The 10 Commandments Of A BossChick" went on to becoming a best seller and catalogued at every central library through out the United States. Dept of education got whim of the best selling book and author and honored her twice for making change for at risk youth and formerly incarcerated men and women.
