T'puram: Whichever outfit stands for a theocratic state, whether it is RSS or Jamaat e Islami, it should be resisted and we should have the guts to stand up for a republic of human beings, said M Swaraj MLA. He was speaking at the emergency assembly session convened to discuss the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). He said Golvalkar was a Hindu Maududi and the latter a Muslim Golvalkar and both were against humanity, secularism and democracy. The CAA is not against just the Muslims, but against all the country and hence the protests against it should be organised in a secular manner.
