What's changed since 2015 (half a decade ago), find out every major changed that has hit the clash of clans village. So many things have changed, and in todays video I will go through all of those major changes all in under 10 minutes! I hope you enjoy :) Hello everyone, and welcome to World of Clash. Today we are going to look at just how much this game has changed over the last 5 years by taking a look at max players now compared to max players in 2015. Let’s get into it!
So, what has changed in the last 5 years? Well for starters town hall sniping is no longer a thing. 5 years ago, people used to put their town halls outside of their walls in order to get free shield in exchange for losing a few trophies. This allowed for people with town hall sevens or even lower to push to the top of leaderboards. Nowadays, supercell added a feature where you need to get at least 30% destruction in order to get a shield, and also the town hall contains lots of loot, so if it gets destroyed, then your bank account will take a bit of a hit too.
Next, do any of you remember when super queen walks used to be a thing? When someone with a maxed out archer queen would train up an army full of heroes and then have the archer queen completely steam roll an entire base all by herself. It was a super powerful attack, if there was more time, she would be able to 3 star just about any base. But now in 2020, thankfully supercell nerfed the healers so that after you place 5 of them, they start to do less and less healing for each additional healer.
Next, check out the global leaderboards. Back then things were a lot more competitive for individual players. In terms of clans though, the same few clans consistently finished at the top in 2015, such as King's rock, quantums web and a few others just to name a few. Nowadays there are tons of new clans that have risen to the top. But what's really crazy is the top player for the past year. Just take a look at this Stephanie Doctor M person who's finished at the top almost every time.
Now lets take a look at a fully maxed town hall 10 attack in 2015 compared to a fully maxed town hall 13 attack in 2020. Only some of the O G players will remember the lightning blue walls which were the max level at the time. Back then the popular attack stratgies involved golems and wizards, and then sometimes witches or PEKKAs as well, called gowiwi or go wipe.
Now in 2020 the sky is dominated by electro dragon attacks, along with plenty of new troops such as the ice golem, bowlers, the yeti, lava hounds, baby dragons, miners, and new siege machines. Also during the past 5 years, new dark spells have been added like the poison spell, earthquake, haste spell, bat spell and skeleton spell and also a regular spell called the clone spell. And last but not least 2 new heroes have been added. The grand warden and the royal champion. Unlocked at town hall 11 and town hall 13 respectively.
