The government has moved to implement measures outlined by President Uhuru Kenyatta to revamp the agricultural sector. New Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Peter Munya who took over after Mwangi Kiunjuri's sacking, set the ball rolling, directing new KCC to buy raw milk from farmers at 33 shillings per litre up from 25 shillings.
As Chemutai Goin reports, farmers have welcomed the reforms saying the cry has been heard.
