Ian Novorita - Death of Our World

Ian Novorita - Death of Our World This is my first ever song, a song about the iron will of some townfolk who tried fighting off their oppressors, which lead to their demise.

Lyrics:

Death of our world
Lost all control
Lost our homes
Ancestors who defended

Foreigners burst
Through our great walls
Longswords in hand
Slayed all who opposed them

Destruction Unchained
Followed along
Enslaving us all
Taking our hardearned freedom

Missery they brought upon us
Belief in their gods they enforced
Sacrifices made all worthless
Hope of freedom made supressed

Years have passed
Since that day
Our prayers unheard
Freedom attempts ineffective

Never lost hope
We tried at last
Revolution to spark
Take revenge for this torture

"Here we come!"
Axe in my hand
driven by rage
My comrades stand beside me

"FREEDOM OR DEATH
THESE ARE OUR WORDS
FEARLESS WE STAND
SO COME AND SET US FREE!"

Destruction followed with our march
For freedom we made our last stand
The cowards sent armour on our battle ground
Overwhelmed and overrun, we were quickly torn apart!!
