Jeep Gladiator Lift, Steering Components, Tires & Wheels Upgrades | KC Gladiator Build Pt. 2

Jeep Gladiator Lift, Steering Components, Tires & Wheels Upgrades | KC Gladiator Build Pt. 2 The second phase of upgrading our Jeep Gladiator JT is by upgrading the main components that will make the biggest difference in making our Jeep Gladiator more capable. In this video, we are showing you our Jeep Gladiator Suspension upgrades, steering component upgrades, and the new tires and wheels! To get all of this installed, our good friends at @RebelOffRoadLLC helped work on the Jeep while we filmed it, so a major thank you to them and all other partners below for their help in this build.

Stay tuned for our next video showing the brand new WRAP that we put on the Jeep Gladiator, commemorating our 50th Anniversary as a company!

For our suspension, we opted for a pre-production kit from @ICON Vehicle Dynamics that uses 2.5" Shocks with remote reservoirs in the front, and piggyback reservoirs in the rear - each with CDC (Compression Damping Control) adjusters. The front also received a hydraulic bumpstop kit, which meant the factory bumpstops had to be cut out. The kit uses a longer coil in the front to achieve the height. In the rear, we installed Icon's billet aluminum upper and lower arms.

To upgrade the steering components, we used Steer Smarts Yeti XD components, including their sway bar end links, adjustable track bar, drag links, and tie rods. Man, are these components BEEFY. These have totally changed the ride on our Gladiator. No more body roll on the highway, absolutely no bump-steer whatsoever, and just an overall very comfortable driving experience.

For tires, we had to go with @BFGoodrich 37" KM3 Mud Terrain tires. These match the overall goal for this vehicle - one that is very functional and capable offroad, while still having some road manners. Best of all? We were able to squeeze the 37" spare underneath the bed in the factory spare location! People have been asking - "can I fit a 37" tire underneath my Gladiator?" and the answer is yes!

We chose the @FuelOffroad Enduro wheels. They maintain a classic look with the round "spokes" yet have a modern twist. Perfect for the style we are going for on our Jeep Gladiator.
