How to apply for Canada job fairs (New Brunswick Job Fairs)?
Before being a part of such job fairs, one has to fill in an application form online (provided below against each job fair). The registration form asks you about yourself (qualification, age, work experience and financial details, etc). Once your application seems good enough for employers, you are given a chance to attend the event on the given day and time along with an email confirmation. The participation email should be in printed form with you when you reach the event place on the appointed day. This includes information about the place address and meeting person details too. Upon successful meetings with employers, you may well be able to be directly hired by the employers there and surely receiving a job offer makes sure that you will get the PR or work visa.
Valid visa categories for this program
New Brunswick offers you opportunities to apply through its ‘Provincial Nominee Program‘ (NBPNP) or through the ‘Atlantic Immigration Pilot’ program. You may well be nominated by this province for the Express Entry Stream that will allow you to get 600 extra points to form CRS.
Requirements
Interested applicants will have to provide following proofs to be a part of this job fair and later on New Brunswick Immigrant program (these are considered to be the minimum requirements and for each category, it may vary):
Language exams, i.e. IELTS, TEF, TCF(level 4.0 minimum or 6.0 to 7.0 for higher category jobs on the Canadian Language Benchmarks ).
Educational credential assessment (ECA) Please make sure that you have at least a higher secondary school certification.
Proof of previous work experience (letters of reference, tax documents, pay stubs)
Sufficient liquid settlement funds ( for Permanent Residency applicants)
Step by step process
Provided that you have required level of minimum qualification, language skills, and ECA report with funds availability, you can fill in the form online and upload too your CV there for further consideration.
Your documents and application will be forwarded to certain Canadian employers for job consideration.
You will be able to meet employers in a job fair held in the selected country/region.
Once you get a job offer from the employer, you will be told to apply for a relevant visa category.
