Local dad is on a mission to make teens aware of the deadly side effects of food allergies Raising children with food allergies is often scary for parents, but what about when your child goes off to college and is living on their own? Michael Suhy's college age daughter unknowingly ate a food that contained the food she was allergic to (peanuts) and ended up dying from a serious allergic reaction. The Allison Rose Foundation was created out of this tragedy and is working hard to change the lives of food allergy families. Fox 8's Stefani Schaefer spoke with Michael about the work being done in classrooms all over Northeast Ohio to make teens more aware.
