Man missing from hospital since Christmas Eve may be in Glasgow as police launch appeal A "scarred" man missing from an Aberdeen hospital since Christmas Eve may be in Glasgow, according to police.

Andrew Anderson vanished from the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary at around 12.40pm on December 24.

Police have now launched an appeal to help trace the 35-year-old, from the Ashvale Place area of the city, who they believe may be in Glasgow.

He is described as white, of a medium build, around 5ft 8in in height, with short dark hair and facial hair.

He may also have scars to his face and both arms.

Sergeant John McOuat said: "There is a possibility that Andrew may be sleeping rough in the city centre of Aberdeen.

"He is known to have connections in the Tayside and Glasgow area's and may well travel throughout Scotland.

"I would urge anyone who may have seen a man fitting this description to get in contact with police.

"We are keen to trace Andrew to ensure that he is safe and well and anyone with information can contact police on 101 quoting incident number 1330 of December 30, 2019."
