A family in Nairobi is tonight mourning the death of their 16 year old girl who is alleged to have died out of negligence at the Kenyatta National Hospital. The late Joyce Waiwa is claimed to have developed breathing complications while awaiting medical attention for hours, before being pronounced dead at the facility. The devastated parents are accusing the hospital of laxity in attending to their child, despite settling the admission fee as required . however, in a statement, KNH assistant corporate affairs manager Hezekiah Gikambi dismissed the claims....saying and i quote.
