Sen. Cory Booker Drops Out Of The 2020 Prez Race. Why Didn't His Campaign Catch On? Sen. Cory Booker announced today that he is dropping out of the race for the 2020 presidential race.

Booker's withdrawal, follows former Cabinet Secretary Julián Castro and leaves a less diverse field, with Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, entrepreneur Andrew Yang and former Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick as the only minority candidates remaining in the race.

Now that Booker is out, many are asking why didn't the senator from New Jersey's campaign catch on?
