Officials fear the death toll from a devastating earthquake in eastern Turkey will continue to rise.
It stood at 21 on Saturday morning – with more than 1,000 people injured – as rescue workers continued to search for about 30 people buried under collapsed buildings in in Elazig province and neighbouring Malatya.
The quake hit on Friday at 8.55pm local time (5.55pm UK time) at a depth near Sivrice, the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (or AFAD) said.
