Where Are Kobe Bryant And His Daughter Now?

Yesterday, news broke that famed basketball player Kobe Bryant passed away in a helicopter crash along with his daughter and a long with 7 other people.

Since this news came, I've been receiving emails and comments from people wanting to know what will happen to Kobe on the spiritual plane. It's understandable that loving fans would want to know where their hero is in the afterlife. However, my personal belief is that death is a very personal experience, and when someone we look up to passes away, we need to give them their privacy as they go through this transition.

In the meantime, you can honor Kobe by sending warm thoughts and prayers to his family, and even by writing blogs or posts which talk about why he was important to you. Know that it's okay to grieve his death, even if you didn't know him. It's always okay to mourn our heroes, even if we never got to meet them in person.
