Jackie & Shadow have perfected their changing of the guard (COG) to be in near perfect timing with one another. Usually we see this synchronicity in eagle couples that have been together for several years - but with J & S we see this already with only their second breeding season together.

1)1st COG ~ Shadow departs & Jackie takes over incubation
2) Jackie gives the eggs a roll & shimmies down on them
3) 2nd COG ~ Jackie departs & Shadow takes over
4) 3rd COG ~ Jackie departs & Shadow takes over
