At Slater and Gordon sites across the UK I’ve been sharing our 2020 strategy for growing our Consumer Legal Services business. We want to be outstanding at the practise of law and outstanding at the business of law. We’re convinced that a future-fit legal services firm needs to be great at both.
Firstly, we’re going to invest to allow our lawyers to focus on what they do best, using their legal services expertise to deliver outstanding results and experiences for customers. This means giving them the very latest technology so that they can work anywhere. It means re-engineering our core processes so that we can get simpler and faster and more convenient for our customers.
Secondly, we want to broaden our appeal. In our industry we just don’t understand enough about what customers want. Very recently we’ve undertaken a survey involving over 20,000 consumers to understand what they want from their legal services provider. We know they want different products and they want better customer experiences – especially online. So that’s what we’re going to offer, and that’s going to enable us to better serve more customers.
And third, we’re embedding The S+G Way, a culture that’s built on a platform of collaboration and communication and creativity, a place where we can just thrive by being ourselves. It’s going to be a really exciting year for us here at Slater and Gordon in Consumer Legal Services, and if you’d like to find out more I’d love to hear from you.
