We also look at the image element's src attribute, which allows us to include images on our page from anywhere on the web, or preferably to images we control locally. Images also have an alt attribute which provides alternative text if an image cannot load, and this is used by screen reader software so that the visually impaired can still understand the image.
Additionally, we take our first glance at Chrome Dev Tools - the powerful developer tools that are built into the Chrome browser which enable developers to 'look under the hood' of any web page.
At the end of the video, there's even some bonus JavaScript to handle smooth scrolling on our page! ๐ So we see for the first time, two of the three front end technologies working together. You can take this JavaScript with you and use it on any future project to handle smooth scrolling between locations on the same page.
