Book Kukuna Onsen ➜ I recently went to a tattoo friendly luxury ryokan with private open air bath! Also known as an Onsen where tattoos were allowed! and this one was so amazing because it had a giant view of Mt Fuji.
Before this, I always wanted to visit the Onsen / Ryokan or hot spring bath in Japan but because I have large tattoos, I was not able to go. Finally this year, I thought to myself I can't miss out on this! I NEED to go to an onsen so we found one with a private open air bath. It is SUPER close to Tokyo and was PERFECT for what we wanted to go there for!
The public onsen did not have any signs permitting tattoos but I did not enter out of respect. overall it was THE BEST experience ever!
