New calendar could revolutionize the way we live Since the beginning of civilization, societies have made different calendars in an attempt to most accurately track the passage of time. Now, two professors at Johns Hopkins University are the biggest backers of a radical new calendar that would eliminate leap years and standardize dates to be the same each year. “CBS This Morning: Saturday” co-host Jeff Glor spoke to the experts to learn more about their idea.
