A handful of Wuhan residents have started to return home in early March 2020 after they were caught outside the central Chinese city as it went into lockdown to contain the spread of the coronavirus. The lockdown in effect since January 23, 2020, has severely restricted travel, but some are taking advantage of the fact that high-speed trains still stop at Wuhan city, a major transport hub in central China.
