On August 13th, it became official that CBS and the new Viacom, Paramount’s corporate owner, will re-merge into a new company, ViacomCBS. This will have some major long term ramificiations for Star Trek, and with any luck, of the positive kind - some are already drawing Marvel comparisons.
Are such lofty comparisons premature though?
